Welcome to Ozel Cabs. By accessing our website or using our cab booking services, you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before making a booking.

1. Service Overview

Ozel Cabs provides taxi and cab rental services including intercity travel, airport transfers, hourly rentals, wedding car bookings, corporate taxi services, and tourist sightseeing packages in and around Jalandhar, Punjab, and across North India.

2. Booking & Confirmation

Bookings can be made via phone call, WhatsApp, or through our website contact form.
A booking is confirmed only after you receive a confirmation message or call from our team.
We recommend booking at least 2-4 hours in advance for local trips and 12-24 hours in advance for outstation journeys.
Availability of specific vehicle types is subject to fleet availability at the time of booking.

3. Pricing & Payments

Fares are quoted based on vehicle type, distance, duration, and route at the time of booking.
Toll charges, parking fees, and state-border taxes (if any) are payable by the customer unless explicitly included in the quote.
Payment can be made via cash, UPI, or bank transfer as agreed upon at the time of booking.
For outstation trips, driver allowance (food and accommodation) may apply for overnight journeys.
Prices are subject to revision without prior notice. However, confirmed bookings will be honored at the quoted price.

4. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Free Cancellation: Bookings cancelled more than 4 hours before the scheduled pickup time are fully refundable (if prepaid).
Late Cancellation: Cancellations made within 4 hours of the pickup time may attract a cancellation fee of up to 25% of the total fare.
No-Show: If the customer fails to arrive at the pickup point within 30 minutes of the scheduled time without prior intimation, the booking may be treated as a no-show and the full fare may be charged.
Refunds, if applicable, will be processed within 5-7 business days.

5. Passenger Responsibilities

Passengers must provide accurate pickup/drop-off locations and contact details at the time of booking.
Consumption of alcohol, smoking, or any illegal substance inside the vehicle is strictly prohibited.
Any damage caused to the vehicle by the passenger during the ride will be the passenger's financial responsibility.
Passengers are advised to wear seat belts at all times during the journey.
Ozel Cabs is not responsible for any personal belongings left in the vehicle after the trip. However, we will make reasonable efforts to retrieve and return lost items.

6. Driver & Vehicle Policy

All our drivers are licensed, verified, and trained professionals.
Vehicles are regularly maintained, sanitized, and insured as per government regulations.
In the rare event of a vehicle breakdown, Ozel Cabs will arrange an alternate vehicle at the earliest possible time at no additional cost.
Route decisions are generally left to the driver for optimal efficiency, unless the customer specifies a preferred route.

7. Luggage Policy

Standard sedans can accommodate 2-3 medium suitcases. For excess luggage or oversized items, we recommend booking an SUV or larger vehicle. Please inform us about special luggage requirements at the time of booking.

8. Limitation of Liability

Ozel Cabs shall not be liable for delays caused due to traffic, road conditions, weather, natural disasters, or any other circumstances beyond our control.
Our total liability for any claim arising out of our services shall not exceed the fare paid for the specific trip in question.
Ozel Cabs is not responsible for any consequential losses such as missed flights, meetings, or appointments due to delays.

9. Modifications to Terms

Ozel Cabs reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. The updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of our services after any modifications constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

10. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Jalandhar, Punjab.
