Preserving the Poignant Reminders

The garden has been beautifully preserved as a public memorial. As you enter through the same narrow alleyway where the soldiers once stood, the atmosphere becomes quiet and respectful. One of the most haunting sites is the Martyrs' Well, where many people jumped in a desperate attempt to save themselves from the hail of bullets. The boundary walls still bear the original bullet marks, now framed to ensure they remain visible to future generations. At the center of the park stands the Flame of Liberty, a large pylon memorial that burns perennially in honor of the martyrs.
